ORDERING YOUR WEDDING CAKE

Congratulations!

Congratulations are due to both you and your partner. The wedding date has been set and planning is already on the way. Next Step is to secure the cake! Please contact us to check for availability. We recommend that you reserve your date as soon as possible. A $150 non-refundable reservation fee is required to secure your date and will go towards your total.

An initial estimated price quote is based on your cake size, cake covering, potential decoration and delivery destination.

Please let us know your budget upfront so that we can let you know if we can work within it.

Wedding Cake Tasting Box

After payment of your wedding cake reservation fee, we will organize a cake tasting box that will include 5 of our most popular wedding cake flavors, beautifully packaged and delivered to you (within Georgia) for you to sample at the comfort of your home. Cake Tasting Box goes out on the 15th or 3rd Wednesday of each month. If you wish to try flavors not included in our most popular list of flavors, we will consult with you on creating your requested or custom cake flavor options.

Wedding Cake Design Process

During the process of designing your perfect wedding cake, we will communicate via email and phone as you choose elements of your wedding day, using these as inspiration for your custom wedding cake. To ensure a cohesive design, details such as the venue, decor, color schemes, and floral choices will be discussed during the design consultation of your cake. Finalizing Your Order

Once we have confirmed your cake design details, we will provide you with a final quote. When you are happy to proceed, we will complete your order form and send you a copy of the cake form/invoice along with our terms and conditions for your signature. Your invoice will detail your total cost minus any reservation fee paid. Payment is accepted via credit card, debit card and/or PayPal. We currently are not accepting checks. 50% of your order total is due upon signature of your cake form/invoice. The balance of your order is due 30 days prior to your wedding day.

The Big Day!

Due to the intricate details of our wedding cakes, many couples choose a full delivery and set-up service at their venue. We will coordinate with you or with your wedding coordinator prior to your big day to arrange delivery and set up. If you choose to pickup your wedding cake rather than choose delivery by You Dessert Better, we will require you to sign a liability waiver form that relieves You Dessert Better from any damages to the cake once it leaves our possession.
