- Where are you located?

- How far ahead should I make an order for a cake/dessert?
It’s always best to place orders at least one week in advance for our Pre-Designed cakes and our other desserts.
We will do our best to accommodate last minute orders but cannot guarantee our availability.
For our Wedding Cakes, please make orders 6 – 8 weeks in advance.
- Do you have ready made baked goods available if I order within 24 hours?
We bake to order, so it’s best to make your order, 1 week in advance.
- How do I figure out what size cake I need for my event?
Each cake tier is standard height (4 - 5 inches tall)
For a modest slice per serving:
- 6 inch cake will feed about 12 people.
- 8 inch cake will feed about 24 people.
- 10 inch cake will feed about 38 people.
- 12 inch cake will feed about 56 people.
For Taller cakes, also called double barrel cakes (8 - 10 inches tall), the serving size and pricing doubles.
- Can you accommodate any dietary restrictions?
Unfortunately, we do not offer gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan options.
- How can I store the cake?
Cake leftovers should be kept in the refrigerator for no longer than a week or freezer wrapped in cling wrap and stored in an airtight container for up to a month.
Wedding & Specialty
- How is pricing determined?
Our Specialty and Wedding Cakes are priced based on the number of servings required for your event and is also based on complexity of design.
For our Specialty Cakes, there is a minimum 12 serving size for an order
For Wedding Cakes, there is a $450 minimum order.
- How do I determine how big a cake I need for my event?
For a modest slice per serving:
- 6 inch cake will feed about 12 people.

- What if I want a very big/tall cake without so many servings?
We offer partially fake (made out of styrofoam) cakes of 2 tiers and above. These fake cakes can be incorporated within the design of your cake and are used ONLY when our clients want the height of a bigger cake, but don’t need all the servings a bigger cake offers.
- How do I make an order?

- How far ahead do I make my order?
It’s advised to make your wedding cake order at least 6 – 8 weeks (2 months) in advance before your wedding date.
The time is needed to ensure success in taste combination and design. During this time, planning, a consultation, and tasting will take place.
We will do our best to accommodate last minute orders but cannot guarantee our availability.
- Do you offer Tasting?
We do offer tasting for wedding cakes and will be included in your price of cake (Price included in wedding cake cost ONLY).
Our cake tasting box contains 5 of our most popular flavors and cost $25.
Flavors offered will be our most popular flavors but you may request a particular flavor that is not offered and we will do our best to fulfill your request.
Please feel free to contact us or email us at info@youdessertbetter.com to set up a tasting box. Please include the date of your wedding/event, number of guests expected and a general idea of what you would like.
Don't need a whole cake? No worries. Cake tasting boxes can also be purchased whether or not you are getting married.
Cupcakes & Mini-Cupcakes
- What is your minimum order quantity?
Standard sized cupcakes – 1 dozen minimum per flavor
Mini-cupcakes – 2 dozen minimum per flavor
- Are the cupcakes customizable?
Yes.
Edible cupcake toppers are available for an additional fee per cupcake depending on complexity of topper. Please feel free to inquire about options and pricing.
Fondant covering are available for an additional fee per cupcake depending on complexity of topper. Please feel free to inquire about options and pricing.
Cake Lollipops
- What is your minimum order quantity?
There is a dozen minimum order quantity per Cake Lollipop color and flavor.
- Are the Cake Lollipops customizable?
Yes

These are offered for an additional fee per cake lollipop depending on complexity of detail. Please feel free to inquire about options and pricing.
Delivery
- Do you deliver?
We do offer delivery services within 15 miles of Marietta, Ga. for a $18 fee (price subject to change).
Locations outside the standard 15 miles radius, will be charged an additional fee per extra mile + $18 standard delivery fee.
- Do you set-up when delivering?
We ONLY set up wedding cake orders at your specified delivery location.

- Do you ship your desserts?
We ship our celebration candles and our cake tasting boxes.
- Do you ship internationally?
Due to the nature of desserts being perishable, we do not ship our desserts internationally.
Payment
- Do I have to put in a deposit when I put in a custom order?
A 50% deposit is required in order to secure any order $500 or over for your event date when you order two weeks or more in advance. Remainder of your payment is due 1 week prior to your event date/scheduled pickup or delivery date.
Full payment can also be made during the placement of your order.
For last minute orders (1 week or less than a week of your event date), full payment is required at time of placing your order.
We accept all major credit cards and payments via PayPal. No checks are accepted at this time.
- How is pricing determined?
For Specialty and Wedding Cakes, we price our cakes per servings and complexity of design.
- Payments
We accept all major credit cards.
Payments via PayPal is also accepted.
Once an order form and pricing is finalized for custom and wedding cakes, a payment request will be sent to the email address you provide us. Payment can be made with any major credit card.
No checks are accepted at this time.
- Cancellation Policy
No cancellations or refunds within 1 week to pick-up/delivery date for our Pre-Designed Cake and other dessert (Cupcakes, Cake Lollipops, Mini Desserts, and cookies) orders.
Specialty Cakes:
Cancellations made 1 week prior to event date will receive a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. There are no refunds or credits for cancellations with less than 1 weeks notice. This is because we would have turned away other orders and will be unable to book additional events with such short notice.
Wedding Cakes:
Cancellations made 1 month prior to event date will receive a refund minus the $100 reservation fee. There are no refunds or credits for cancellations with less than 2 weeks notice. This is because we would have turned away other orders and will be unable to book additional large events with such short notice.
